Research & Analysis

Our firm brings the highest levels of expertise and connoisseurship when it comes to vetting works of art. The complex matrix of factors that determine the desirability and value of a work of art, such as provenance, condition, global supply and demand, critical importance and historic significance, are the focus of our analysis.

Acquisitions & Deacquisitions

Our private archive on market valuations enables us to provide collectors with thorough pricing analysis on each potential acquisition, thus minimizing the potential for risk and increasing the potential for gain including evaluation of existing artwork. FSCA identifies work to collect, brokers connections with artists and galleries, develops curatorial focus of collections; and also brings in a savvy market view to the collecting process. When selling works of art or an entire collection, FSCA safeguards the interests of the client to ensure they receive the maximum value for the sale. FSCA weights options between placing works at auction or private channels to maximize the value for the client.

Discretion

While our firm's position in the art world is public and prominent, many of our clients prefer to go about their collecting activities in private, with little visibility and utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Be Open Foundation

The exhibition took place at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in Delhi in 2014. The exhibition was a confluence of design, art and luxury, and celebrated contemporary Indian designers. BE OPEN's mission for this project was to encourage makers around the world to explore alternative ways of using traditional skills and keeping them alive, with scheduled events that included: "Made in India", "Made in Tokyo", "Made in the Future", Cape Town Design World Capital 2014 and "Made in the World", at Milan Design Week.

Piramal Foundation

Farah Siddiqui curated an exhibit at the Piramal Museum of Art. 'Pages of a Mind, Raja Ravi Varma: Life and Expressions' was on display in April 2016 which showcased 120 pieces of artwork, 28 paintings of Ravi Varma and about 60 prints, postcards and advertisements inspired by him. The exhibition was open to the public for three months.
